Q: I tried to call you several times but always seem to get your voicemail, what’s up?
A: I am assuming that you are calling me Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (my business hours) so my simple answer, I am busy working with a client.
When I am working with a client, my efforts are 100% dedicated to working with that client. I don’t take interurptions from anything, including the phone.
Since my client is paying me for my time, I feel my time shuld be devoted 100% to working with them and consider it rude to keep taking interuptions and wasting time that they are paying for.
The absolute fastest way to get in touch with me is to leave me a voice mail message if you don’t reach me the first time you call. I return voice mail messsages in the order received and typically within 1 business day – and often on the same business day.
Fortunatley for me I am busy working with clients a lot during the course of a day. Your best chances of catching me available to answer the phone are first thing in the morning (8:00 AM) or at the end of the day (5:00 PM).
Q: Is it better to shoot film
(slide) or digital for my project.
A: This question can't be answered with a simple yes or no
answer. The answer depends on many factors specific to an
individual project.
Some of the
primary considerations in deciding which technology to use for
your project include considering which publications are you
intending to use the final image in? While we all like to think
that digital is here to stay, many publications are still way
behind the technology curve and have no way to deal with digital
images. If the final image will go to a graphic design firm to
be incorporated into an ad, than digital can save you time and
money.
We are happy to
discuss this with you in details specific to your project – call
us.
Q: Can you prepare the final
image to a specific publication's specifications?
A: Yes, simply provide us with the name of the publication.
Q: Can you help us locate
model(s) for our project?
A: Yes, we work with both agency models and freelance talent.
Simply describe your requirements and we are happy to help you
find the perfect model(s) for your project.
Q: Do you provide airbrushing
and photo re-touching?
A: Yes we can, but we make it optional. Some clients like to do
this work themselves and some like us to do it for them. Even
when we don't do any retouching, all our images leave here color
balanced, perfectly exposed and professionally sharpened to the
specific size you requested. In addition we can convert RGB to
CMYK and provide your print house with target proofs for the
best possible color reproduction on an printing press.
Q: How long does it take to
receive proof copies of the photos taken during the session?
A: With rare exception, you will receive a proof CD within 24
hours upon completion of the completion of the shoot.
Q: How long does it take to
receive the photos that I select from the proofs?
A: In most cases you will receive your final images within 3
business days. Rush service is available.
